Stonepeak Named Equity Fund Manager of the Year, North America in 2024 IJInvestor Awards

Stonepeak was named Equity Fund Manager of the Year, North America as part of IJGlobal’s 2024 IJInvestor Awards. 2024 was an incredibly active year for the firm across each of its sectors of focus, including digital infrastructure, energy and energy transition, transportation and logistics, and real estate, with Stonepeak signing or completing 12 investments in the region as of December. The firm was also awarded Transport Acquisition of the Year, North America (2024) for its $7.4 billion acquisition of Textainer, one of the world’s largest lessors of intermodal containers, which closed in March 2024. According to IJGlobal, members of the independent judging panel commented on the sheer size of the transaction, and said it was a “cutting-edge deal” which “opened up a new asset class.” Read the full writeup here.
