Derek is a Principal with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, Derek was Head of Capital Markets at New Ease in Shanghai and Fund Manager of its inaugural flagship logistics development partnership. Prior to New Ease, Derek worked at Macquarie Group in Hong Kong and was a senior team member with a focus on the firm’s Greater China Business.
Derek received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from University College London.
Yasuhiro Ono is a Director with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, Yasuhiro was Head of Infrastructure Investments at Japan Post Bank where he helped establish the infrastructure program and was responsible for a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure portfolio of fund investments, co-investments, and debt investments across all infrastructure strategies globally. He was also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Institutional Investing in Infrastructure.
Prior to Japan Post Bank, Yasuhrio worked at Mitsubishi Corporation for almost fifteen years where he was heavily involved with strategic investments and business development globally.
Yasuhiro received an engineering Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo focusing on infrastructure technology and mathematical modeling. He received a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University.
John is a Vice President with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, John was a member of the Power & Utilities group at Evercore, where he focused on the renewables and utilities sector.
John received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Deesha is a Vice President and Fund Controller with Stonepeak. Deesha joined Stonepeak from HarbourVest Partners, where she was Assistant Private Equity Manager. Prior to HarbourVest, Deesha was an Audit Senior at Deloitte.
Deesha received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting both from University of Connecticut and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Carolyn is a Managing Director with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Carolyn was the Head of Investor Relations at Infracapital, where she was responsible for fundraising, investor relations and co-investments. She was also the Responsible Investment Manager establishing and overseeing the firm’s ESG management system. Prior to Infracapital, she worked at Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking and Deloitte Corporate Finance.
Carolyn received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance and Economics from the University of Auckland. She also received an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Oxford.
Ralph is an Operating Partner with Stonepeak and supports the firm’s efforts across the Real Estate sector. Ralph was the founding President and CEO of LivCor, Blackstone’s multifamily portfolio company from 2013 until 2019, where he oversaw over the aggregation, repositioning, and asset management of over 70,000 units. Prior to joining LivCor, Ralph was Senior Vice President for Aimco from 2007 to 2013, overseeing Asset Management, Redevelopment, Ancillary Income and Facilities activities. Before Aimco, he was Vice President for Hilton with responsibility for Managed Development activity in the Western US from 2004 to 2007. Prior to Hilton, Ralph worked for Catellus Development Corporation, a San Francisco, California-based real estate investment trust, where he was Vice President of Asset Management, overseeing the company’s industrial, retail, office and multifamily assets and joint venture relationships from 1995 to 2004.
Ralph received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Robert is a Vice President with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, Robert was an analyst at Simmons Energy where he focused on M&A advisory work within the energy industry.
Robert received a Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, in Accounting and Business Honors from Texas A&M University. He also received a master’s degree in financial management from Texas A&M.
Samuel is a Vice President in Compliance with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, Samuel was a Senior Compliance Officer at KKR where he focused on private markets activities. Prior to KKR, Samuel worked on US Senator Mark Warner’s 2014 reelection campaign as a Field Organizer.
Samuel received a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond.
Daniel is a Principal with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Daniel was a member of the Energy Group at J.P. Morgan, where he focused on the power, renewables, and utilities sectors.
Daniel received a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
Ryan is a Managing Director with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Ryan covered the energy and infrastructure sectors for King Street, a New York based hedge fund focused on distressed, special situations, and event driven credit investing. Prior to King Street, Ryan worked in the Energy group at TPG Capital, a large global private equity firm. Ryan started his career in Credit Suisse’s Energy Investment Banking group.
Ryan received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University.
Madeline is a Principal with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, Madeline was an Analyst within the Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse, where she focused on project management and fundraising for the group’s GP clients.
Madeline received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in History from Princeton University.
Kate is a Managing Director with Stonepeak and is Head of Human Resources. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Kate worked at Apollo as the Lead Human Resources Business Partner for the Credit business. Prior to Apollo, Kate also worked at Siemens for seven years in a variety of Human Resources roles.
Kate received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University.
Adrienne is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak and is the firm’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Adrienne was General Counsel for Babcock & Brown. Prior to Babcock & Brown, Adrienne also worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett for seven years as an Associate in its corporate practice.
Adrienne received a Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.
Daniel is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Daniel was a member of J.P. Morgan’s Natural Resources Investment Banking group where he focused on the power, utilities, and renewable energy sectors. Daniel has also worked as a Strategy Consultant in IBM’s Global Business Services group, with a focus on the travel and transportation sectors.
Daniel received a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, where he received the William Michael Shermet Award and the Class of 1986 Peter J. Niehaus Merit Scholarship. Daniel also received a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Tulane University.
Samantha is a Vice President and Fund Controller with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Samantha worked in the Private Equity Accounting group at Tiger Global. Before Tiger Global, Samantha was a Controller at Ares Management and an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young.
Samantha received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Legal Studies in Business and a Master of Accounting from Tulane University. Samantha is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Joni is a Managing Director with Stonepeak and is Head of Administration. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Joni worked at Russell Investments as the firm’s Administration Manager. Prior to Russell Investments, Joni was the Director of Operations and led the administrative and facility functions of Babcock & Brown for more than twenty years.
Joni received an Associate’s Degree from Berkeley Business School in New York.
Ryan is a Vice President with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Ryan was a Vice President at Rhône Group, where he focused on investments in the business services and industrials sectors. Prior to Rhône, Ryan worked at J.P. Morgan in the Diversified Industries group.
Ryan received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from New York University.
Sharon is a Principal in Compliance with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Sharon was Head of APAC Compliance at HarbourVest Partners based in Hong Kong. Sharon also previously held senior compliance roles at Fortress Investment Group, Mount Kellett Capital Management LP and Deutsche Bank.
Sharon received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from the University of Essex.
Phill is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Real Estate at Stonepeak.
Before joining Stonepeak, Phill was a Managing Director on the investment team at Blackstone where he helped launch Blackstone Infrastructure Partners after spending nearly a decade in Blackstone’s real estate group. Prior to Blackstone, Phill worked in Morgan Stanley’s real estate private equity and investment banking groups. Over the course of his career, Phill has played a key role in real estate and infrastructure investments representing nearly $100 billion of total enterprise value across the transportation, logistics, retail, gaming, healthcare, lodging, office, and residential sectors.
Phill received a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Matt is a Managing Director with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Matt was a Managing Director at Neuberger Berman where he oversaw the Private Bank and U.S. Offshore Coverage team, managing client relationships across the firm’s alternatives, private equity, equity, and fixed income businesses. Previously, Matt worked as an investment specialist at JPMorgan Private Bank and in product development at New York Life Investment Management.
Matt received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and German from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Matt is also a CFA charter holder.
Ed is a Vice President in Legal with Stonepeak. Before joining Stonepeak, Ed was a Senior Associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP in the Energy, Environment and Infrastructure group.
Ed received a Bachelor of Laws with Advanced Studies from University College London.
Matt is a Managing Director with Stonepeak. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Matt was a Managing Director at Macquarie Capital where he was Head of Macquarie Projects, managing the technical and commercial aspects of infrastructure investments.
Matt received a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Engineering from La Trobe University, Victoria, a Master of Commercial Law from Deakin University, Victoria, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Surveying from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Luke is Co-Chief Operating Officer of Stonepeak, a member of the Stonepeak Executive Committee, and a member of all of the firm’s investment committees. In this role, Luke shares broad responsibilities across investing and the firm’s day-to-day business. Luke has been investing across the infrastructure space for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Luke was a Senior Vice President with Macquarie Capital based in New York, where he spent 10 years investing in a variety of sectors.
Luke received a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business (Distinction) from the University of Otago (New Zealand).
Andrew is a Senior Managing Director with Stonepeak and is Head of Communications, Global ex-Europe. Prior to joining Stonepeak, Andrew worked at Pacific Equity Partners and McKinsey & Company.
Andrew received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honors and University Medal) and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honors) from the University of Sydney.
